Do I need a driver's license?
Yes — a valid driver's license is required to operate any of our golf carts. Anyone in your party who plans to drive should bring theirs. Passengers don't need one.
What's the minimum age to rent or drive?
You must be 21 or older to be the primary renter and listed driver. Additional drivers must be 18+ with a valid license.
Can I rent for a single hour?
Hourly rentals may be available during the week and off-season for 4 and 6-passenger carts, with no minimum hours when approved. Peak dates and 8-passenger rentals are usually daily or multi-day only.
Are seat belts required?
Texas law requires seat belts in street-legal golf carts. Our carts are equipped — please buckle up.

Can I drive on Port Aransas beaches?
Absolutely. Every cart in our fleet has off-road knobby tires, is street-legal in Port A, and includes the beach parking permit on the cart. Drive directly onto the sand at Port Aransas Beach Access Road entries and follow posted beach rules.
Can I drive outside Port Aransas?
Joy rentals are for Port Aransas use. Confirm your exact route with us before heading outside town or onto roads with restrictions.
Where are the Beach Access Road entries?
The most popular nearby entries are Beach Access Road 1, Beach Access Road 1A, and Beach Access Road 2 — all within minutes of our shop.

Call us right away. Active rentals receive handoff and support details, and we work quickly to get you rolling or swap the cart when needed.

How do I pay? Is there a deposit?
Submit your dates online and we confirm the reservation details with you directly. Driver's license, insurance, and credit card names should match; any deposit, final payment, or incidentals are explained before the booking is finalized.
Do you rent year-round?
Yes — we rent year-round. Peak-season rates apply around Memorial Day through Labor Day, Spring Break, SandFest, holidays, and busy weekends. Off-season weekday hourly rentals may be available for 4 and 6-passenger carts.
